Living With God And Others

LIVING WITH GOD AND OTHERS

TEXT: II Tim 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

What if God’s purpose for man were fulfilled in the whole human race?
Men know there are problems: But how to solve them? Million dollar studies, Seminars, workshop and conferences? Legalize trouble-causing actions so they won’t bother us anymore? Sex education, Drug education, Higher education? Moral training with no basis in God? More and bigger Prisons, Guns , War etc?

The text has the answer! It won’t work. Right? But when Jesus comes, it will work for all men and it will work right now for the‘Man of God’.
Ephesians2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone:
V 21 In whom all thebuilding fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in theLord:
V 22 In whom ye also are builded together for and habitation of God through the Spirit. FELLOW CITIZENS !
1. Phil 3: 20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we lookfor the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
V 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

IT BEHOOVES MEN TO LEARN NOW HOW TO LIVE IN ETERNITY
1. How can men, who can’t get along with other men, who are just like themselves, ever hope to get along with God, who is so greatly different?
Jer.12:5 If thou hast run with the footmen and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? And if in the land ofpeace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

I God does have the answer. Every time man has failed to heed, he has brought trouble to himself and his fellows.
a) In the garden -simple rules- but tragic results---Death upon all men!
b) At Sinai - No other Gods- No graven images-but- A golden calf -death to 3,000 men and more plagues.

c) David- No Adultery- Sword shall not depart-but murder covetousness
